Location & Directions - Bellawongarah at Berry

Princes Highway From Sydney:
Bellawongarah is a comfortable 2hrs drive from Sydney via the Princes Highway.
After passing the coastal areas of Wollongong, Kiama, Gerringong into Berry drive through the township and turn right at the sign indicating 'Bellawongarah' on Kangaroo Valley Road (identified as a Tourst Drive
Route 7).

Follow this sealed road for about 8km up the mountain, passing the intersection of Tourist Road on the left.

Travel about 1km where the cottage and white gates of Bellawongarah At Berry (869 Kangaroo Valley Road) will come into view. Please drive through the gates where you will find ample parking.

Hume Highway from Sydney:
An alternative route from Sydney via the scenic Southern Highlands is to take the Hume Highway from Liverpool to Mittagong, through Bowral via the roundabout on Kangaloon Road (Tourist Route 15).

Travel past Bong Bong racecourse, cross the Illawarra Highway and follow Sheepwash Road to Fitzroy Falls on the road to Nowra and Kangaroo Valley.
About 2km past the valley township, take the left turn towards Berry (sign) on Kangaroo Valley Road.

This brings you up the mountain (fantastic view on the left) to Bellawongarah (20 mins from Kangaroo Valley) with the cottage on your right at 869 Kangaroo Valley Road.
